When should I resurface my pool?

Well, first, it’s important to ask,

“Why would I need resurfacing?”

as well as “When?”

As plas­ter ages, the cement erodes (as shown), expos­ing the mar­ble dust sand of the orig­i­nal plas­ter struc­ture. This rough sur­face is not only hard on ten­der bare feet, it can also trap fine dust and par­ti­cles, which makes the pool look even more discolored.
